The Camp Events Travel Insurance – Terms and Conditions

The Camp Events Travel Insurance (“Travel Insurance” or “Protection Plan”) is an optional refund protection add-on offered exclusively to purchasers of iVIP Ticket Packages. This plan is designed to offer peace of mind in the event of unforeseen changes to your schedule that may prevent you from attending The Camp Events. To purchase travel insurance, select the check box on the check out page if you are paying in full for your iVIP Package. The check box for pay will only appear on the check out page for tickets that it will apply to. It is recommended when you purchase your travel insurance to only have iVIP tickets in your cart. If you are purchasing a payment plan, travel insurance will be an option on the product page and not on the check out page. Travel Insurance is only available for iVIP tickets. Travel Insurance is available for both The Camp PTC and Scream City Con.

By purchasing this insurance, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:


1. Eligibility

  • Travel Insurance is only available for iVIP Ticket Packages.
  • Travel Insurance does not apply to:
    • General Admission tickets
    • Special Events (e.g., private meals, off-site tours)
    • Photo Ops or Autographs
    • Merchandise or add-ons
  • Travel Insurance may be used to downgrade a package, but only may be used once.
    • e.g., If you downgrade a package from a Quad iVIP to a Triple iVIP, you may not then cancel the package or downgrade a second time.

2. Refund Policy

  • Travel Insurance allows the purchaser to request a full refund of the ticket costminus any applicable processing or service fees, up to 30 days prior to the first day of the event.
  • No refunds will be granted after the 30-day mark, even with Travel Insurance.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

3. Non-Refundable Without Insurance

  • Tickets purchased without Travel Insurance are 100% non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
    • Illness or medical emergencies
    • Travel disruptions
    • Scheduling conflicts
    • Acts of nature or weather
    • Personal emergencies

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund under this plan, you must:

  • Submit a request in writing to contact@thecampevents.com
  • Include your order confirmation number
  • Submit your request at least 30 days before the event start date

5. Additional Notes

  • Travel Insurance must be purchased at the time of your original ticket purchase. It cannot be added retroactively.
  • Travel Insurance can only be added on the Check Out Page if paying in full and on the product page if you are purchasing a payment plan.
  • The Camp Events reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet these conditions.
  • Travel Insurance does not guarantee access to rescheduled or postponed events. Refund terms will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for rescheduled events.

6. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing Travel Insurance, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. This policy is non-transferable and applies only to the original ticket purchaser.
